  • 🎮 Global Game Jam 2026

    We are excited to announce Global Game Jam 2026 will be held at UMSL January 30th - February 1st, 2026!

    Come team up with local creators and make a game over the weekend! This event is open to ALL (even remote friends)! Students from any campus are also welcome. Online and in-person participants are both welcome!

    Registration is Required!

🎼 Releases

  • Daniel Christmas is the composer and lyricist of Death by Denial, a dark melodic metal transformational experimentation
  • Fat Bard created the sound design for Kingdoms of the Dump, a SNES styled JRPG set in a fantasy world of garbage, created by two janitors. Join Trash Can Knight, Dustin Binsley, as he fights his way through the Five and a Half Kingdoms of the Dump!
  • Austin Miller posted a demo of the main theme for DIONYSIA, a photography boomer shooter
  • Fat Bard co-composed Cross Blitz, a unique RPG deckbuilder featuring fast-paced tactical combat with loads of cards to collect and synergies to wield. Explore, level up, craft new cards and build the perfect decks as you carve your own path to victory!

🎮 Releases

  • Jigokuro created a variant of sudoku, called “Twisted Arrows in Fog 1”.
  • James C. Kane released The Shadow of the Czar, available for mobile or desktop browser. ‘Shadow’ is an action-packed, jazz-infused narrative web game in film noir style, designed to push both my storytelling and World Labs’ incredible technology to the limits.

  • Ziyanthus released May the Rain , a game jam made in Godot. Explore the surreal, foggy peak of a lonely tepui mountain, in this short 10-15 minute long narrative. What has brought this lonely soul to a place where none belong?
