🕹️ Game Jam Releases

  • Kit Kitsis and JR released Unmasked, a mini luchador unmasking punch-off!
  • Aayush Gauba and Aarav Gauba released Space Adventure, a fast arcade space shooter where alien masks wrap your ship in new identities, changing how you survive waves.
  • Tony Wojnar, Michael Wojnar, and Laz Richardson released Masquerade Mystery, a deduction game set at a masquerade. Can you find your assassination target based on the clues given?
  • Keatin Werleman, Tori Hilgar, Fatema Salem, Jake Wampler, and Reed Parkhill released Patchwork. Use your trusty masking tape to set the line work for a painting!
  • Tailcoat John, Meghan, and Dingus Khan released Rook Race. Try to deduce enemy types while moving on a grid.
  • James Struble, Tori St. John, Brady Maher, Jonathan Wintemberg, and Kel Gruber released Trash Bandit! Collect trash, avoid obstacles, don’t get caught by animal control.
  • John Haney, Everett Haney, and Malcolm Haney released Time Jump! Discovering a mysterious medieval helmet, you try it on and are transported to a castle. Vanquish the evil forces within and find your way back to reality… if you can!
  • Loren Naegle, Julia Bernett, Celina Monzon, Michael Lewis, Kendal Myers, Sara Myers, and Ethan Suttles released Rabius Carta. Sit down to a favorite pastime - a game of cards. Your opponents may not make for the best conversationalists, but be glad that they’re not. Simply playing the game is enough to drive you off the deep end!
  • Rhiannon Abram, Dani Bequette, Nicole Dougherty, Nicholas Granada, Ethan Cargill, and Alexi Basi released Intruder! It’s Halloween night and some pesky college kids have broken into YOUR cabin!! Better “round them up” so they don’t find the literal actual skeletons in your closet! If only it was easier to see through your not-killer mask.
  • Jeff Wheaton and Daniel Hogue released Mask Dash. Rush to the end of each stage while avoiding obstacles and collecting masks that temporarily enhance your mobility!
  • Alex Dollar, Andrew Jones, Daniel Nagel, George Fetters, Jason Moree, and Paul Hennerich released Masque of the Red Death. Find the noble who has been infected. You know the individual infected only by their mask, and must find them before it is too late. Fail to find them before the time is up, and the Red Death claims ALL!
  • Nathan Amiri & Dorian Kavadlo released Phantom Pane, a puzzle platformer where you build the level as you go.
  • Sarah Lester, Jacob Stauch, Cameron Walker, Tucker Baumgartner, and Ben High released Bian Lian Lian Lian Lian. You are a Bian Lian dancer, and you have an important gig at a chain Hot Pot establishment. You must use your magical mask changing abilities to navigate the rooftops of the city and reach the Hot Pot restaurant.
  • Jasmine and Philip Hayes released Kingdom’s Gambit. Built like a good ol’ game of chess, but each piece has a mind of its own.
  • Brian, Wes, Tim, Cam, Laz, and Colin released Web of Deceit. Play as an undercover journalist posing as a party photographer, with a secret objective to match masked guests to their true identities while uncovering a web of corruption, blackmail, and hidden alliances.
  • Pedro, Bella, and Audrey Albea released Sushi Blind Date. With your lucky sidekick, Sushi, you navigate levels to learn who is your soulmate and who is a disaster.
  • Kelsey Watkins and Lazarus Richardson released Untitled Ghost Game, a game that can only be played with the right equipment. Spin your volume dial to run and pivot at the right time in order to cross the river to get candy.
  • Noel, Jeremy, Jason, Xian, Damian, and Cherryisu released BloodMoon. Defend the city from the monsters that show up at night while protecting your own secret.
  • Nicolas Lynch, Gregory Perry, Ani Speaker, Ameer Alzahabi, Gryfon Munier, and Vannia U released Mask Through Time. A 4D Puzzle Platformer, Try to escape the museum using the Masks of Time found throughout the game.
  • The Maryville University Game Design Club released Matt Clipz and the Labyrinth of Layers.
  • Kurt Glastetter released Gas Mask Hero. There has recently been a massive deadly gas outbreak in a post-apocalyptic daycare. You’ve been assigned to save small children trapped in the deadly gas. Save all the children, but make sure your gas mask filters don’t run out.
  • Tobi B released FPS. Your goal is to navigate a run-down building, taking out enemies as you go.
  • scftm, Jeremiah Dyson, GameBoyJT, Jeff K, and Sabrex released A Crack in the Mask. You control Lost, a child who fights wielding emotional masks. Each mask has unique abilities and weaknesses based on type matchups.
  • BlackCatLuck released Memory Mask Maker, a game about memorizing mask features quickly and applying them to a blank mask.
  • GiantToast released NORMAL DOG, a game about wearing masks and fitting in.
  • Lazarus Richardson made songs for many of the Global Game Jam games - here they are in a collection!

🎮 Releases

  • Nathan Burchard, Ethan Carter Lyons, Calvin Chen, Eric Leon and Michael Martinez released Cat-ching Critters! Take control of Gelato to fight back the encroaching hordes of rats, roaches, and other gluttonous Critters aiming to gorge themselves on the fine delicacies of the restaurant and tarnish their reputation in their pursuits.
  • Kris Truitt released the demo for Mansion of a Million Monsters on Steam! Investigate a spooky cartoon mansion and its zany suspects, uncover the clues, and unmask the monsters prowling its halls in this action-adventure whodunnit!
  • lialoveloud and jno8295 are accepting preorders for togtiles, a 10 piece pocket puzzle based on the Einstein tile, a new shape and a single shape that tiles the plane without repeating.
  • SuperWes published a Twine parser that was used in his Global Game Jam game as an open source package along with an example project that shows how to use it.
