RoundUp № 38
August was packed with all kinds of events, from the Missouri History Museum’s Game Night that had 400 attendees, to our monthly social (this time at Boco Boba!), to having a Share and Play with over 50 devs! It’s a great time to be involved in our community, jump in if you haven’t already!

Dev Updates
- Tony Wojnar has been hard at work getting things ready for the Chicago Indie Game Showcase with Dribble 2, and has been working on level design for the Glitch Ditch level!
- BluSurfaceMedia posted a devlog for Plunderer’s Run!
- James C. Kane posted a gel, water & sand simulation running on Apple Vision Pro WebXR + WebGPU and is also experimenting with photoreal 3D performance capture with 1-4 cameras for games and edutainment!
- Beelze Pub was updated to its final version! Give it a play on itch.io!
- Primordio Season One Launch Trailer is live on YouTube!
- Larger Than Average Games showcased Guild Legends at the Share & Play! A nostalgic, heartfelt, and chaotic action game for up to four players. Build your guild, recruit diverse heroes, and slay hordes of monsters!
- jackachulian showcased Which Witch? at the Share & Play! Which Witch? is a rhythm game + dating simulator where your conversations influence the music and the notes.
- Butterscotch Shenanigans’ How Many Dudes has past 100,000 Steam sales!
- Goofy Gourd Studios is working on converting more NPCs for cutscene backgrounds and improving the background UI for their latest game!
- Aaron Sumner has been making scenes for an office on pico8!
- Axol Studio has put out a survey with a couple of questions for research on their next game!

- Dorian Kavadlo posted Circuit Breaker from Mixtape Match on Soundcloud!
- azetrom posted their own songs from Mixtape Match on Soundcloud as well!
- Fat Bard’s music on Demon Tides is now available on record for pre-order with a limited 300 units to grab!
- Listen to a compilation of video game music from our community on STLGameDev’s YouTube! Great for jamming out to while working on games
- Fat Bard worked on the music for Warfare 1776! Check out the new trailer!

Game Releases
- Graphite Lab launched Smithsonian: Digging for Dinosaurs! A interactive adventure where young explorers excavate fossils, discover prehistoric creatures, and learn through play in a safe, engaging experience designed for curious kids.
- Midnight Launch Games’ Time To Rogue, a dungeon crawler where the resource isn’t mana or gold, it’s real-world time, is now out on iOS and Apple Watch!
